White Wines

2019 Sauvignon Blanc

Monterey County

Our Sauvignon Blanc shows off the classic stone fruits that this varietal is known for:  White peaches and apricots, with a hint of green apples. Because it was not aged in oak, the fruit is dominant, and  the palate is light fruity and refreshing.

2018 Chardonnay

Monterey County

This wine shows crisp stone fruit notes revealed in it's natural, unoaked nature.  Fermented in stainless, the true personality of the Chardonnay grape presents flavors of apricot, peach and papaya.

Red Wines

2017 Monmartre Red Field Blend

The 2017 Monmartre blend is a compilation of: 42% Estate Zinfandel, 8% Carignane, 50% Cabernet Franc. Expressive cranberry fruit is a typical consistent aromatic of the Estate Cabernet Franc, which shows through in this blend. The Zinfandel gives us a hedonistic over the top raspberry note with a hint of black pepper spice, and the ripe dark fruits such as: blackberries and blueberries, can be attributed to the Carignane. The palate is full yet elegant and is worthy of further aging.

2016 Pinot Noir

Miller Hill

This 2016 offering from the Miller Hill vineyard usually shows red berry fruits aplenty, but this year those same fruits are on the darker side. Black cherries and blackberries are the dominant fruit with smoky and cracked black pepper. The palate is elegant with good acid and tannin balance, with hints of nutmeg and cola nut on the finish.

2017 Pinot Noir

Santa Cruz Mountains

This vintage is a blend of three different vineyards:  50% Regan Vineyard in Corralitos, 25% Black Ridge near Los Gatos opposite Lexington Reservoir, and 25% Miller Hill, located off Summit Road.  It was aged in very tight grained Hungarian Oak for 19 months.

2017 Pinot Noir

Wine Makers Reserve

This 2017 offering blends the bright fruity attributes of
the Miller Hill Vineyard (57%) with the earthy, spicy, ripe black cherry characters of the
Black Ridge Vineyard (43%). The resulting wine shows a wonderful blend of berry fruits
and earth, spicy characters. The palate is full and long with supple tannins and
balanced acidity, a classic Santa Cruz Mountains AVA attribute.

2016 Cabernet Franc

The 2016 Estate Cabernet Franc shows an amazing depth of ripe red berried fruits: Cranberries, pomegranate and strawberries. The typical, Santa Cruz Mountains AVA mineral character comes shining through, with a hint of mint, earth, and tobacco to create a complex wine worthy of vines planted nearly 100 years ago. Long term aging in oak contributes a pleasant nutmeg spice with a touch of vanilla on the finish.

2014 Pinot Noir

Santa Lucia Highlands

The 2014 Pinot Noir from the SLH AVA, shows red and black cherry fruit with that wonderful Santa Lucia Highland potpourri of dried herbs, rose hips, forest floor, cherry cola and briar patch spice.

The port also has hints of sautéed brown mushrooms, with melted Stilton and topped with crushed walnuts.

2011 Pinot Noir - AWARD WINNING

Regan Vineyard

Wild, wet and windy might aptly describe the weather mother nature threw at us in 2011, and it certainly made for a challenging year. However, out of adversity often comes greatness. Elegant, fruity, velvety palate, with lower alcohols than usual due to the cold wet weather during harvest that year.  Still drinking beautifully, our 2011 Regan Pinot Noir won Best of Show & Best of Class at the 2013 S.F. Chronicle Wine Competition.

2010 Pinot Noir

Muns Vineyard

This 2010 offering shows lovely bright red cherry fruit with hints of cola-nut, nutmeg and vanilla.  The true cherry pinot noir fruit shines through on the palate, and continues all the way to the finish.

2010 Syrah

Coast View

Wonderful black-current and white pepper spice, which are typical characteristics of a Northern Rhone, but not always found in California Syrahs are dominant in this current vintage. Layers of blackberries and blueberries are to be found under the obvious cassis flavors as they gracefully float across the palate.

2010 Zinfandel

Our 100 year Anniversary Estate vines

Planted in 1910 and an example of the classic old-vine, head pruned, dry farmed Zinfandel vineyards of France.  Gorgeous raspberries and black pepper spice. This is what Zinfandel should smell and taste like. The aromas explode out of the glass and keep you coming back for more, and the depth of flavors seem fathomless. The 2010 vintage is more refined in style to previous vintages, with moderate (For zinfandel) alcohol at 14.4% and a classic claret style structure of balanced acidity and tannins.

2009 Pinot Noir

The Estate pinot occupies a solitary single acre on the steepest part of the estate vineyard. The clone is entirely 667 which is noted for its good color and small berry size, especially when planted on steep slopes. Earthy and spicy notes upfront, but opens up to reveal wonderful black cherry fruit that mingles so well with the spicy oak attributes. As so often happens, the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA brings a core of firm rich tannins and balanced acidity, and its calling card of minerality.
