This blend of these great vineyards gives us a beautiful perfumed nose of black cherries, red cherries with just the right amount of oak and cinnamon spice. It has a wonderful mouth-feel of velvety soft tannins and balanced acidity, with a long fruity finish that lingers long after the last sip has gone.
This is a blend of three vineyards from the cool Sonoma coast AVA: Gunsalus, (25%) Tina Marie, (30%) Armagh, (35%) and one from the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA, Muns (10%). For those Pinot purists, look for the classic Pinot Noir mineral character that the Santa Cruz Mountains brings to the blend. Although this wine drinks beautifully now, it will age and improve for many years to come. Pairs well with the Squash Gratin.
