2007 Pinot Noir, Insider's Club

This is a blend of three vineyards from the cool Sonoma coast: Gunsalus (33%), Tina Marie (17%) and Armagh (50%).  Although Tina Marie and Gunsalus are also in the Green Valley part of the Russian River AVA near Sebastopol, these outstanding vineyards are well within it's inland baoudaries.  This offering to our club shows off its's AVA pedigree with possibly the greatest pinot vintage to date.

A long cool slow growing season is every pinot winemakers dream and in 2007 that dream came true.  This particular pinot shows opulent, classic black cherry fruit with just a hint of black cherries on the finish.  It is a full bodied  pinot noir with balanced acidity and velvety tannins,  that is showing beautifully now.
