2010 Pinot Noir- Sonoma Coast, Insider's Club

This blend is 90% pinot noir from the wonderful Armagh vineyard and 10% from the Muns vineyard here in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

It’s always fun to put this pinot noir blend together! Looking for complimentary differences in all of the lots we work with can be a daunting task when you have to taste through approx. 100 barrels of wine, but what the heck, someone’s gotta do it!

The Armagh brings it’s earthy spiciness to the blend while the Muns pinot brings it’s minerality. Both vineyards share one thing in common, and that’s their beautiful depth of pure black cherry fruit. The palate is rich and velvety, with the flavours lasting all the way to the finish.
